Spinal Adjusting

“A spine should move well to be healthy”

Dr. Brian manipulates the spine to increase movement of the joints.

Most or your vertebrae bones have four joints. They are known as facet joints. They also have two discs associated with them, one above and one below. Discs are made of ligament and allow for movement between vertebrae. When you injure spinal joints the ligaments and discs can shorten and become scarred just like other soft tissues. The best treatment for dysfunctional joints and discs of the spine is spinal adjusting. Spinal adjusting involves a quick, firm stretch done by hand with focus exactly on the short spot. The result is longer ligaments and increased range of motion. This treatment is also very effective for disc injuries.
