Common Questions

How many treatments will I need?

Sometimes people get total relief in one treatment, but that should not be expected.  Simple minor injuries will often take 4-5 visits. Serious old injuries with moderate arthritis can take many months to turn around. New injuries will need occasional treatments until they are fully healed.

How often should I get a treatment?

The fastest pace that we can work is one time per week.  Generally one treatment per 2 to 3 weeks is perfect if your time and finances allow.  Progress can still be made on a monthly to bi-monthly basis.

Is the treatment painful?

Stretching short scarred tissues is uncomfortable but the level of treatment can be modified to your tolerance.  I have worked on infants, children and even people in their nineties.  I will apply the depth of the work appropriately.

Can I expect to be sore after a treatment?

Your treatment is like an exercise session. You may find that you are tired and want to rest afterwards.  Some people feel energized.  Most clients are a little sore after a treatment, much like after a workout.  The soreness will dissipate in a day or two.
